Hoping for Better

Not all people who are unsheltered are unemployed; for about 25% of them, a typical day includes a shift at work. More people spend time looking for work, whether it is by physically visiting companies or browsing job listings online. A full academic course load is part of the unsheltered experience for many because there are an estimated 1.3 million public school pupils who suffer homelessness and housing insecurity.
