A Rise in Poverty

We are facing a dilemma with the basic lifestyle being impossible to some to manage. The number of people in extreme poverty has risen from 70 million to over 700 million people worldwide. The global extreme poverty rate was increased from 8.4% to 9.3% as of 2019. Homelessness and poverty are inevitably linked. When economic instability increases, so does the risk of homelessness.
